Oak Park Concert Chorale
The Oak Park Concert Chorale, since its founding in 1981, has emerged as one of the Midwest's leading choral ensembles featuring both a cappella and accompanied performances. Based in Oak Park, the chorale consists of approximately 30 singers who offer highly artistic performances of varied and exciting choral music. In addition to numerous appearances in and about the Chicago area, members of the Chorale, while singing with the Oak Park River Forest Symphony Chorus, have participated in two European tours where they were warmly received by audiences and favorably reviewed by critics. The Chorale's regular Spring and Fall concert season attracts 600 audience members on average.
